Gladewater is home to one of the largest antique shows in the area, the Gladewater Round-Up â bringing in dealers from throughout the state and providing a great way to find hidden treasures!
Gladewater is also home to Lake Gladewater, a 132-acre lake located just south of town which offers visitors the opportunity to fish, boat, paddleboard and enjoy the views of the area. There are numerous public parks located throughout the town, and many offer family-friendly activities like fishing, hiking, biking, tractor pulls, and even geocaching!
Gladewater is also home to one of the oldest downtown churches in the country â The First United Methodist Church of Gladewater. The church is an impressive historical building that dates back to 1883, and visitors can still attend Sunday services or tour the church and surrounding cemetery.
